At Identity Impact, we believe the most powerful thing a human can do is live from their true identity.  Identity impacts everything. Who we think we are affects how we learn, how we lead, the work we do—and even the shoes we wear.

As Nobel Prize–winning economist George Akerlof once said: “Identity may be the most important economic decision people make.”

Every day, educators, parents, and students face pressure to perform, conform, or simply survive in a world filled with anxiety and comparison. But when they discover who they truly are—free from fear and false labels—they bring peace, not pressure. Connection, not control. And transformation, not just change.

For decades, our founders, Jamie and Donna Winship have developed a unique process called the Identity Method. This process of identity transformation is the key to resolving inner conflict and acquiring new levels of learning and creativity. Their unconventional efforts to bring about societal and racial reconciliation led them to Indonesia, Jordan, Iraq, Palestine, Israel and back to the U.S. in professional sports, business, education, law enforcement, government, non-profit, and other sectors.

We’re launching something new: a pilot program for school districts—an immersive, identity-based training for educators that brings simple, powerful tools directly into the classroom. From reshaping learned responses to reframing failure as growth, this program is a doorway to lasting transformation in education bringing connection and identity into classroom management, behavior intervention, project-based learning and strategy in assessments.

Here’s what your generosity makes possible:

  • In-person and virtual workshops for teachers and leaders
  • Age-appropriate multimedia for students
  • Ongoing storytelling and support that spreads this movement across sectors
  • Ongoing research and development in identity learning

This isn’t behavior modification—it’s a movement towards connection, creative collaboration and resilience.

Would you consider renewing your gift—or giving for the first time—to bring identity to more students, classrooms, and communities this year?

Together, we can raise up a generation who lives fearlessly in their true identity.
